I met this guy on Tinder and we went out for drinks within a few days of matching. Date was good, we had great chemistry, and made it to second base. He texted about 10 mins after leaving asking me out again. I said yes please and we decided to pick a place and time later in the week. To make a long story short, life got busy for me, then life got busy for him, then we were going to meet but we both mutually called it off due to other stuff coming up for both of us. I mentioned to him that I still owe him drinks and he corrected me that I owe him dinner. So on Friday, I texted him asking to hang out after work. He told me he couldn't because his family was up visiting.

However, if your GF has been doing this for ages, as LB says, she won't change. How do you know what really goes on on these nights out, is it as bad as you think really? Is there really NO chance of you going along? I would get a little pissed if my BF was going out 5 times a month without me. Two times I could handle, but when you factor in that we both work fulltime, so going out during the week is out, and we can't do two nights in a row anymore, that only leaves four nights a month that we could go out.......so I don't know.
I feel like this is something I can't talk to him about. It seems like a fundamental difference in how we approach things and I doubt he would change at 28 years old.
